Boys Town Names New Healthcare Executive Vice President
Deepak Madhavan, M.D.
Boys Town is pleased to announce the appointment of Deepak Madhavan, M.D., as Executive Vice President of Healthcare. Dr. Madhavan has served as Chief Medical Officer at Boys Town since 2021 and will oversee all Boys Town National Research Hospital operations.
“Dr. Madhavan has demonstrated exceptional vision, clinical expertise and a deep commitment to our mission,” said Dr. Jason Bruce, M.D., Boys Town Chief Operating Officer. “His ability to build high-performing teams and expand access to care has been instrumental in advancing our healthcare services. I am confident he will continue to lead with innovation and compassion in this expanded role.”
Dr. Madhavan joined Boys Town National Research Hospital in 2019 to lead the Pediatric Neuroscience Initiative, where he played a key role in developing and advancing the program. He brings extensive experience in pediatric neurology, program development and clinical leadership, along with a strong track record of driving operational excellence and strategic growth.
Dr. Madhavan received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his neurology residency at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, followed by fellowships at NYU Langone Health. Dr. Madhavan obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015 and was named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2021.
