Boone County Health Center Provider Recognized By Wayne State College
Dr. Bryant Carlson
Dr. Bryant Carlson, the newest provider at Boone County Health Center in Albion, was recently recognized as a '10 Under 10' from Wayne State College.
A native of Fremont, Dr. Carlson is a family medicine and obstetrics physician. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Health Science from Wayne State in 2018 while participating in the Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP). He later earned his M.D. from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 2022. After medical school, he completed his family medicine residency with the UNMC Rural Training Track in Scottsbluff at Regional West Health Services.
This is the second year that the college has offered the ‘10 Under 10 Alumni Awards’, presented in conjunction with Wayne State College’s time-honored Outstanding Alumni Awards. The awards honor alumni who are emerging leaders making significant contributions by living out their calling, engaging in their local or global community through professional and/or volunteer involvement, serving as outstanding young role models for current and future students and alumni, and graduating within the past 10 years.
The 10 Under 10 Alumni Awards were presented on Friday, September 26th, during Homecoming week festivities at Wayne State.
