BIO Girls Largest Community Event Taking Place This Wednesday, May 15th At Microsoft

The Find Your Kind 5K, hosted on Wednesday, May 15, is a community event that celebrates local BIO Girls program participants, while also raising awareness about the importance of mental health during May’s mental health awareness month.

This year, Find Your Kind 5K is presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation. The organization anticipates over 700 runners plus their cheering squads and nearly 100 event volunteers. 

One hundred percent of the event proceeds from Find Your Kind 5K support the BIO Girls mission of improving the self-esteem of adolescent girls.

The event will start and finish on the Microsoft Campus, located at 3900 Great Plains Drive in Fargo, ND. Kicking off at 6 p.m. is the Youth Run. For ages 12 and under, the Youth Run is a half mile in distance. The community 5K will begin at 6:15 p.m. and is for all ages.
