ART Vision And Artisan Skin And Laser Announce Promotions And New Staff Additions

Alison R. Tendler is a board-certified ophthalmologist and owner of ART Vision and ARTisan Skin and Laser Center in Sioux Falls, SD. A skilled eye surgeon, Dr. Tendler specializes in cataract and vision correction procedures, including lens implants, refractive surgeries, and oculoplastic treatments.

She is devoted to helping her patients see clearly while feeling confident about their image. Dr. Tendler opened her own facility on July 1st, 2019, and her team continues to grow and accomplish the goal of helping others see and feel their best.

Megan Sage, MSN, FNP-C, has recently taken on the role of Executive Director at ART Vision and ARTisan Skin and Laser Center, helping oversee the practice's daily operations. Megan is an experienced nurse practitioner in both the aesthetic and ophthalmology fields.

Sarah Shay has advanced to Clinical Director of Ophthalmology at ART Vision, where she manages clinic operations and ensures surgical days run smoothly. Shay has worked with Dr. Tendler in the clinic and surgery setting for the past eight years. Formerly she worked in the hospital setting as a member of the surgical team in obstetrics.

Chesney Garnos comes to ART Vision and ARTisan Skin and Laser Center as their Senior Digital Strategist with five years of digital marketing strategy, with a background in media relations and strategic communications.

Garnos manages and implements the overall digital and communications strategy for both organizations. Garnos has her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of South Dakota in Communications, Political Science, and Social Media Marketing.

Jacob Just joins ART Vision as an Opthalmologic Assistant, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College.

As an Ophthalmic Assistant, he takes patient histories, performs diagnostic tests and procedures, schedules, prepares the exam room, and assists with surgeries. He is also a South Dakota Army National Guard Medical Service Officer.
