April Qualley Joins Essentia Health 32nd Avenue Clinic General Surgery

The Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic is proud to welcome April Qualley, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in general surgery.

"I felt a positive, forward-thinking connection with everyone I've met and will work with," explained Qualley of her decision to join the Essentia Health team. "I have specialty training in wound care and when a position opened up, it seemed like a great time to transition to Essentia."

Qualley received her education from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board.

"I've spent the last ten years working in plastic surgery, utilizing my wound care skills to help patients avoid surgery and to help with health afterwards," said Qualley. "I see wound care as a puzzle, bringing together all the right pieces to help the people I treat heal."
