Anna Wiemken Joins Essentia Health-Osgood Clinic as Elder Care Practitioner

The Essentia Health-Osgood Clinic is excited to welcome Anna Wiemken, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner in elder care.
“I was drawn to Essentia’s strong mission-driven culture and patient-centered approach to care,” explained Wiemken. “Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients and providing compassionate, high-quality care that looks at the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Essentia’s values and focus on serving the community really aligned with the provider I strive to be.”
Wiemken received her education from the University of North Dakota and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
“I’ve always felt drawn to caring for the elderly,” said Wiemken. “I started working as a CNA in home health elder care when I was 16 years old, and from the very beginning I loved the relationships, the stories and the personal connection that comes with caring for older adults. The most rewarding part of this work for me is building long-term relationships with patients and their families.”
