Amanda Sedlacek Awarded Fellow Status by the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine

Amanda Sedlacek, DO, FACOI, MSA, with Yankton Medical Clinic, P.C. recently earned the designation Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine  (FAAHPM). This is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a member. The Academy is  the professional organization for physicians specializing in hospice and palliative medicine, nurses, and other healthcare providers.  

Dr. Sedlacek is an Internal Medicine/Palliative Care Physician with YMC and serves the  Southeast South Dakota and Northeast Nebraska region. She offers telehealth palliative  services, as well as in-office visits, by calling 605-665-1722 

Dr. Sedlacek will receive the designation at the Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care in San Diego, California on Saturday, March 7, 2026, joined by 52 colleagues working in the  field of hospice and palliative care. She is the second AAHPM fellow in the state of South  Dakota.
