Amanda Bush Honored with DAISY Award by St. Francis

CHI Health St. Francis recognizes Emergency Department nurse Amanda Bush, RN, its most recent DAISY Award recipient. Bush is recognized for excellence in nursing and providing above-and-beyond compassionate care to her patients and their families. 

The hospital chooses one recipient monthly from the many nominations submitted by patients, families and staff.

A grateful patient writes: “Having chest pain that takes your breath away is scary. Amanda was not only kind, she was caring and compassionate. Amanda calmed every fear I had. This ER visit was very pleasant (while unpleasant) and I credit that to my nurse Amanda.”
