Altru Partners with Twenty-Two Independent Hospitals in North Dakota to Join the Rough Rider High Value Network

Altru Health System is proud to announce that it  has officially joined the Rough Rider High Value Network, a groundbreaking alliance of  23 independent hospitals (and associated clinics) dedicated to improving patient  outcomes, enhancing value, and delivering high-quality care across the region. This  strategic partnership underscores Altru's unwavering commitment to patient-centered  care and dedication to improving health outcomes in the communities it serves.

As a member of the Rough Rider High Value Network, Altru will be part of a network  that focuses on providing cost-effective, high-quality care while ensuring patients have  access to the most advanced treatments and services available. The network offers a  comprehensive approach to care that includes a wide range of healthcare professionals  and providers working together to improve the overall health and well-being for over  350,000 individuals in the region.

“We are excited to join the Rough Rider High Value Network,” said Dr. Josh Deere,  President of Altru Health System. “This collaboration strengthens our ability to provide  integrated, high-quality care to our patients while reducing costs and improving  outcomes. By partnering with like-minded organizations, we are able to enhance our  services and deliver even greater value to those who rely on us for their healthcare  needs.”

The Rough Rider High Value Network aims to create a more coordinated, efficient  healthcare system. By sharing resources, data, and best practices, the network ensures  patients receive timely, appropriate, and value-driven care. This network model  supports value-based care initiatives that align incentives for both providers and  patients, ensuring that quality is prioritized over quantity.

Altru Health System has a longstanding commitment to delivering comprehensive  healthcare services to the region, including primary care, specialty services, emergency care, and advanced medical treatments. Through this new partnership, Altru looks  forward to expanding its network and continuing to improve the health of the  communities it serves.

“This partnership marks a new chapter for both the Rough Rider High Value Network  and Altru Health System,” added Alfred Sams, RRHVN President. “By joining forces we  are positioned to achieve greater operational efficiencies and clinical advancements,  ultimately benefiting our patients and their families.”
