Hospitalist Dr. Adhanom Beyene Joins Essentia Health Fargo

Essentia Health-Fargo is proud to welcome hospitalist Dr. Adhanom Beyene.

"I chose Essentia Health because I was impressed by the people I met, the collaborative environment and the organization's strong emphasis on patient-centered care and its core values," said Dr. Beyene. "I was looking for a place where I could grow as a hospitalist, work with a supportive team and provide compassionate, high-quality care to my patients."

Dr. Beyene received his medical degree from Orotta School of Medicine and Dentistry in Eritrea. He completed his residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

"I chose internal medicine because I enjoy the breadth and complexity of caring for adults and the opportunity to bring together different aspects of medicine," explained Dr. Beyene. "It is rewarding to see patients improve during their hospitalization and to know that the care we provide can make a meaningful difference in their health."
