Sanford Hosts Boo To The Flu

Sanford Children’s is thrilled to announce our upcoming “Boo to the Flu” events, an exciting and child-friendly flu vaccination event.

The event, designed to create a positive and enjoyable experience for kids, will take place throughout the community in the weeks leading up to the flu and spooky seasons. One of the unique features of these events is the encouragement for children to wear their favorite costumes. This playful addition not only adds to the festive atmosphere, but also empowers children, making them more comfortable and excited about the vaccination process.

“We understand that getting shots can be intimidating for children,” said Dre Blotsky, Sanford Fargo Children’s, clinic director. “Through ‘Boo to the Flu,’ we want to make this experience a positive and memorable one. By wearing costumes and participating in interactive activities, we hope to create an environment where children feel safe, happy and more willing to receive their flu vaccine.”
