Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Opening - Physicians Vein Clinics Fargo

Position Summary

Physicians Vein Clinics provides the highest quality service and the most up to date techniques with state-of-the-art technology to patients with venous insufficiency. Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Perform lower extremity venous duplex ultrasound exams for venous insufficiency

  • Perform lower extremity vein screenings for assessing superficial veins for reflux

  • Perform lower extremity venous duplex ultrasound exams for DVT

  • Perform ABI exams for peripheral arterial disease

  • Prep patient room and supplies for each procedure

  • Conduct inventory and order medical supplies

  • Assist the physician with surgical and non-surgical procedures:

  • Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA)

  • Ambulatory Phlebectomy

  • Sclerotherapy

  • After each procedure applying compression stockings to the patient

  • Clean and setup room for next procedure

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Graduation from Registered Vascular Technologist program (2 year minimum)

  • Maintain registry with ARDMS

  • At least 2 years of work experience
