Monday-Friday (7 am to 5 pm)

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by the:

  • Accurate and timely processing and storing of incoming shipments and taking on the responsibility to clearly identify and/or label all incoming products.

  • Accurate and safe picking and packing of orders and transfers for pickup and delivery.

  • Loading and securing of orders for efficient, timely delivery as well as verifying the accuracy on orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Process incoming shipments in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Take on the responsibility so that all incoming products are clearly identified and/or labeled.

  • Check incoming freight for damage and process according to company's policy.

  • Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through weekly inventory counts.

  • Remove tag-and-hold products from incoming transfer and place in proper location.

  • Move incoming shipments to receiving area in an efficient manner.

  • Schedule incoming shipments to ensure efficiency during the delivery process.

  • Notify Purchasing Department of all receiving discrepancies.

  • Assist in after-hours scheduled physical inventory counts.

  • Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery process

  • Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time.

  • Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order.

  • Check orders for content and labeling and note any discrepancies.

  • Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person.

  • Load trucks to ensure that no product is damaged in shipment.

  • Be proficient in the use of shipment codes.

  • Make sure that the material is appropriate loading dock.

  • Proces returns accurately.

  • Process and print paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor.

  • Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow works and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.

  • Assist in keep facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.

  • Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.

  • Attend product knowledge meetings as required by management.

  • Assist in keep facility secure.

  • Follow company policies and procedures.

  • Practice honesty and integrity in customer and vendor relations.

  • Communicate and interact professionally with other employees.

  • Communicate company's commitment to continuous improvement process.

  • Use personal computer and other common office equipment.

  • Present a professional image.

  • Continuously upgrade skills and knowledge to improve personal effectiveness and provide training and guidance to less experienced/skilled personnel.

  • Maintain a safe and unobstructed work area, follow all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety equipment and practices.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)


Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years in related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Minimum 1-2 years in progressive position

  • Product/applications experience preferred.

  • Wholesale distribution experience preferred.
