Center for Neurosciences, Orthopaedics, & Spine Celebrates 25th Anniversary In Siouxland

The Center for Neurosciences, Orthopaedics, & Spine (CNOS), celebrates its 25th anniversary as a beacon of excellence in healthcare. Since its inception, CNOS has provided exceptional and personalized medical services to the Siouxland community and beyond.

Founded in 1999, CNOS has grown from a visionary idea into a trusted institution, renowned for its commitment to delivering high quality healthcare across the region. Over the past quarter-century, CNOS has become synonymous with innovation, compassion, and a patient-centered approach.

Dr. Quentin Durward, Neurosurgeon and founding member of CNOS, states “It was over 25 years ago that doctors Meyer, Case, Stokesbary, and I, along with seven other physicians, had a vision to bring the highest possible medical and surgical resources to the people of Siouxland.”

“The idea was to offer comprehensive neurological and musculoskeletal care to Siouxland. We grew from three relatively small groups and have expanded over the years to what we are now,” adds Dr. James Case, CNOS Neurologist.

“The concept has proven itself via the successful delivery of care to tens of thousands of patients from the Siouxland area, and many from further afield. We have grown, and now have other specialties included under the CNOS umbrella, including gastroenterology, general surgery, dermatology, occupational medicine, and rheumatology, with over 40 physicians and surgeons working at CNOS. Our mission is not complete, and there is further growth planned, as we continue to meet the needs of the people of Siouxland,” says Durward.

To commemorate this milestone, CNOS will celebrate its physicians, employees, and patients throughout the year in various ways. These initiatives will not only celebrate the medical group’s achievements and growth but also emphasize its commitment to improving the health of its patients and bringing specialty care closer to home.
