Yoder Elected to SHSMD Advisory Board

Julia Yoder, marketing and PR director at Brookings Health System in Brookings, South Dakota is one of three new board members elected to the the Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) advisory board.

Other new board members include Lindsay Cosimano, APR, senior director of marketing and communications, Nebraska Health Network, Omaha, NE. and Amy Stevens, vice president and chief marketing officer, Tidelands Health, Murrells Inlet, SC.

The group also announced Christine Albert, MPP, APR will serve as president of the SHSMD Advisory Board for 2024. Albert is chief experience officer, LCMC Health in New Orleans. SHSMD 2023 Board President Alan Shoebridge will remain on the board as immediate past president. Shoebridge is associate vice president, national communications at Providence, in the Portland, OR metropolitan area.

Reelected to the board are:

  • Lisa Crockett, vice president, system strategy and planning, Providence, Olympia, WA.

  • Adam Higman, partner, strategic consulting, Press Ganey, St. Petersburg, FL.

  • Shay Pratt, vice president, health care research, The Advisory Board Company, Washington, DC.

Returning as board members for 2024 are:

  • Terri Flood, MHA, vice president of business development, Wayne HealthCare, Greenville, OH.

  • Dorian L. Harriston, MA, chief marketing and communications officer, Morehouse School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA.

  • Suzanne B. Hendery, MA, APR, CPXP, chief marketing, communications and customer officer, Renown Health, Reno, NV.

  • Jennifer D. Horton, MBA, vice president of strategy and account services, Ten Adams, Evansville, IN.

  • Dennis S. Jolley, MPH, M.Ed., system vice president, strategy & planning, UW Health, Madison, WI.

  • Dan Miers, chief strategy officer, SPM Marketing & Communications, LaGrange, IL.

  • Ryan Younger, vice president of marketing, Virtua Health, Marlton, NJ.
