LifeScape To Break Ground On $98 Million Dollar Children’s Campus

LifeScape will host a groundbreaking ceremony for its brand-new state-of-the-art Children’s Campus tomorrow, Friday, April 12th at 1:30pm. The new site is located in Northwest Sioux Falls at the intersection of N. Career Ave. and W. 34th St. N.

We are excited to announce that Author and LifeScape graduate, Mark Sternhagen will be attending the groundbreaking ceremony and will be available for interviews. Mark graduated from LifeScape (then Crippled Children’s Hospital & School) in 1973. He contracted polio as a toddler, after missing the vaccination day in his hometown of Scotland, SD, because he had a fever. He has served on LifeScape’s Board of Directors and was named South Dakota’s Outstanding Individual with a Disability in 2021.

Additionally, we will have a parent who has seen firsthand the work LifeScape does available for interviews, along with CEO Steve Watkins, Foundation President Jessica Wells, and others.

An updated parking map is attached. To learn more about LifeScape and the Journey of Hope Campaign, visit https://lifescapejourneyofhope.org/. We hope to see you there!
