Mindfulness: Stress Reduction - 8 Week Course

Utilizing the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction curriculum and methodology developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts, this course offers participants experiential training in both “formal” and “informal” mindfulness practices as a foundation for the cultivation of positive health behaviors and psychological and emotional resilience that can be effectively utilized across the adult life span. The participant should be able to integrate and apply mindfulness practices in their everyday lives and to the range of challenges arising from medical and psychological conditions and life stresses.
