Columbus Community Hospital’s Occupational Health Services is hosting a free Lunch & Learn event on Wednesday, Dec. 1, from noon-1 p.m. in the Platte and Prairie rooms of CCH’s first-floor conference center.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration requires companies to implement a hearing conservation program when noise exposure is at or above 85 decibels, averaged over eight working hours. Presenters Doug Fletcher and Dr. Nora Fuchs will discuss how facilities can learn more about developing a hearing conservation program. They will also talk about how to manage employees who experience hearing loss in the workplace.

Attendees can enjoy a complimentary lunch at 11:45 a.m. Pre-registration for the Lunch & Learn is requested by Monday, Nov. 29. For more information on the event, contact Ileana Jarecki at 402-562-4490 or email [email protected].
