Coss Named HRMC Pro Rehab Director

Huron Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is pleased to announce Haley Coss has joined HRMC as director of Pro Rehab, according to Dawn Allen, RN, MHA, vice president of patient services for HRMC.

In her new role, Coss is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all administrative and technical functions and activities of HRMC’s Pro Rehab services department, which includes physical therapy, at the hospital and Dakota Avenue locations, occupational therapy, speech language pathology and wound care services.

Prior to joining HRMC, Coss was the Northeast Regional Manager for Horizon Health Care in Huron and Aberdeen where she managed a team of 30+ employees, including two physicians and six advanced practice providers, clinical, office and support staff.

“Haley’s leadership skills and experience managing multiple locations position her well to create and grow our rehabilitation service offerings to meet the ever-changing needs of our community,” said Allen. “Her commitment to ensuring personalized care with improved outcomes helps HRMC as we seek operational excellence and keeping care local whenever possible.”

Coss earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the American Military University and is completing a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from American Military University. Prior to working in health care, Haley spent 12 years as a Human Intelligence Collector for the Federal Government based out of Virginia and various international locations.

“I am thrilled to be joining this exceptional team of rehab and wound care professionals,” said Coss. “The outstanding patient care and services they offer to Huron and the surrounding communities is vital to our patients and their long-term success in meeting their individual health goals.”

Haley and her fiancé, Dustin Harvey, who is a Regional Aftermarket Manager for C&B Operations, live in St. Lawrence with their 5-year-old son, Joseph.
