Carli Johnson, CNP, has joined Surgical Institute of South Dakota. Carli earned her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University. Carli is board certified by The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support, Basic Life Support, Trauma Nurse Core Course, Advanced Care Plan Facilitator, Management of Aggressive Behavior, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy. She has been a Registered Nurse since 2016 at Sanford Health in the Critical Care department. With her critical care background we know she will be a huge asset to our surgical and trauma patients. While Carli isn’t working she enjoys taking her Great Dane, Blu, on walks, spending time with friends and family and cheering at her younger siblings sporting events. She will be working primarily at the acute surgical service at Avera McKennan Hospital. We are excited to have her join our medical staff!
