Modern Day Health Care (MDHC) is an advanced practice nurse owned and operated health care clinic, focusing on closing a gap in the rural health care landscape by using modern technology to offer primary care services. With the addition of Nurse Practitioner Kelcey Geditz the Aberdeen and Ipswich areas will have another provider available for online, in-home, and in-clinic appointments.
Kelcey Geditz is an AANP Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of healthcare experience. Kelcey graduated from Presentation College with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2011, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2015. In February 2020, she graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Kelcey has a broad range of nursing experience including geriatrics, public health, inpatient medical and surgical care, inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, and outpatient prenatal education and post-partum care.
Kelcey was born and raised in Aberdeen, SD. She and her husband, Mason, reside just outside of Ipswich, SD where they farm and raise cattle. In November 2020, they welcomed their son, Weylyn. She enjoys time with her friends and family, spending time at the lake, fishing, camping, and riding motorcycle with her husband.
Kelcey is excited to serve Aberdeen as well as surrounding communities. She believes in providing personalized, holistic care to her patients, and having her patients take an active role in their health care and treatment plan. She is looking forward to caring for you and all members of your family.
