Pioneer Memorial Hospital Announces Amanda Thoms Employee of the Month for April

Amanda Thoms, CNP at Parker Medical Clinic, has been named as the April Employee of the Month for Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services. Amanda started working with Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services in September 2018. She is a provider in the Parker Medical Clinic, and at Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services.
Amanda lives in Yankton with her husband, Andy, and daughter, Lilly. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA; and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing & Associates in Science from University of South Dakota, Vermillion. She American Academy of Nurse Practitioners board certified. Amanda also is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioner Association of South Dakota.
Those who nominated Amanda for this award, described as being very caring and outstanding. She shows great love and concern for her patients, and would highly recommend her to anyone. She is a great asset to Pioneer Memorial Hospital & Health Services!
When Amanda isn’t working, she enjoys being outdoors, boating, and spending time with her family and friends.
