Children’s Miracle Network and 92.5 KTWB, Q95.7, 101.9 KELO-FM and 103.7 KRRO are teaming up for the Midwest Communications Radiothon for Kids presented by Hot Stuff Pizza. The radiothon airs 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 7-8.
During the 24-hour event, hosts will broadcast live from the Carlson Great Hall at Sanford Children’s Hospital. CMN families will share their personal stories of how Sanford Children’s and CMN have changed their lives. Donations can be made by calling 1-800-601-5085. One hundred percent of funds raised stay local to help local children. Last year’s event surpassed $$301,000.
Broadcast hosts will talk with doctors, staff and introduce listeners to the following Children’s Miracle Network champions and their families:
Autism and leukemia
Chris and Natalie Dose
Heart and genetic conditions
Ellie Mae Loehr
High-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Jeren and Jaxon Scheff
Down syndrome and cancer
Down syndrome and hydrops fetalis
