Hansen as a member of the College’s Healthcare Advocacy Committee.  The Healthcare Advocacy Committee provides strategic direction to College leadership, and directly advocates for members, in the areas of Federal and state policies, reimbursement, coding, carrier relations, vein education, and practice management.  “The ACP is the leading professional organization in the US dedicated to advancing venous and lymphatic medicine.  We’re excited to have Dr. Hansen on the Committee, and to leverage his experience for the benefit of ACP members,” noted Dr. Chris Pittman of Tampa, FL, Chair of the Committee.

Based in Chicago, the American College of Phlebology is a professional medical association of approximately 2,000 members.  The College is dedicated to advancing clinical research, advocacy, and serving members who treat patients with venous and lymphatic medical conditions.
