Regional Health Urgent Care North and Regional Health Urgent Care West, both in Rapid City, are the first urgent care centers in South Dakota to earn the Accredited Urgent Care designation from the Urgent Care Association of America. The designation is the highest level of distinction for urgent care centers. Accreditation demonstrates that the Regional Health Urgent Care locations have met the association’s standards and criteria for quality of patient care, safety and scope of services. Regional Health Urgent Care centers provide patients with walk-in, extended-hour medical care with licensed providers for conditions such as cuts, burns, sprains, viral infections and allergies. The centers are a convenient and viable option for patients who can’t wait for a scheduled appointment with a primary care physician but don’t need the services of a hospital emergency department. Regional Health Urgent Care West is located at 2116 Jackson Blvd. Regional Health Urgent Care North is at 1303 N. Lacrosse St. Both are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Services include digital X-rays, onsite lab work, sports physicals, drug screens, Department of Transportation physicals and immunizations.
