Mercy Medical Center Announces Gala Chairs

SIOUX CITY, IA:  Brad and Jennifer Clay of Dakota Dunes are set to chair the Mercy Medical Center Foundation Fall Gala on November 2, 2013 at the Marina Inn.  This elegant and entertaining event draws much local attention and provides the financial support needed to further Mercy’s mission of hope and caring.  Since its inception, the Gala has raised approximately $2,500,000 to improve healthcare for Siouxlanders.  Last year’s event was sold out for the tenth year in a row.  This year’s proceeds will be directed to Mercy’s Cardiothoracic surgery.


Jennifer is a graduate of Bishop Heelan Catholic High School and the University of South Dakota.  She is a former teacher with the Sioux City Community Schools, a community volunteer, and an active member of Sacred Heart Parish. Jennifer has offered leadership skills for multiple organizations including Women’s Night Out, STEMM, Mercy Gala, Bishop Heelan Auction, and Alzheimer’s Association.  She contributes much of her time to Bishop Heelan Catholic Schools. 


Brad is a graduate of Bishop Heelan Catholic High School, Briar Cliff University, and the University of South Dakota.  He has worked with Mercy Medical Center in multiple capacities for over 20 years.  He started his career at Mercy as a Radiologic Technologist then furthered his medical training at the University of South Dakota and worked as a Physician Assistant in Sioux City for over 10 years.  In 2005 he joined Stryker Corporation as a sales consultant in the orthopaedic and spine divisions and continues to provide community support throughout the tri-state area.
