GoRed Raises $80K+ for Heart Health
MED was proud to once again be a Media Sponsor of the American Heart Association's GoRed for Women event, which took place in Sioux Falls on February 3rd. MED's own Steffanie Holtrop, a Circle of Red member, was co-chair of this year's event, which attracted 270 people and raised over $80,000 to support heart health initiatives in the region. This is the 19th year for the GoRed event in Sioux Falls.
MED Team Celebrates Growth & Expansion
MED's team recently met to celebrate the expansion of the company's digital news service into North Dakota and Nebraska. Thanks to your readership and the support of our digital sponsors and advertisers, more than 11,000 digital subscribers now receive state-specific news from MED twice a month, in addition to the 5,000+ readers of MED Magazine.
MED On the Road
It has been a whirlwind late summer/early fall for MED. Our staff has been on the road, taking an active role in events from Sioux Falls to Rapid City. In August, VP Steff Liston-Holtrop and MED’s business development coordinator, Kyra Torgerson, took part in the Sioux Empire United Way’s WomenUnite fundraising event which attracted more than 850 attendees and raised close to $20,000 for PATH, a mental health organization that providers counselors in area schools. Kyra also represented MED at the South Dakota Medical Group Managers Association fall conference in Oacoma.
