Summer Taking Flight For Preschoolers

Preschoolers from two Hastings child care centers will get the chance to get up close and personal with a medical helicopter at Mary Lanning Healthcare.

In association with MLH staff training on Wednesday, May 24, Air Methods, a medical transport company, will be landing its medical helicopter on the MLH helipad. In order to make the most of the helicopter being on site, MLH reached out to the child care centers to arrange the special visits.

Two child care groups — one from Pooh Corner Daycare and the other from the PAC2 Center — will get the chance to take a look inside the helicopter and talk with the crew.

The special visits will run 9:15-10:30 a.m. at the MLH North Entrance.
