South Dakotas Association of Healthcare Organizations Welcomes Back Donna Wright At Opening Keynote Speaker 2023 Post-Acute Partners In Care Conference
The South Dakotas Association of Healthcare Organizations (SDAHO) is excited to welcome back Donna Wright as the opening Keynote speaker for the 2023 Post-Acute Partners in Care Annual Conference. This year’s event, held April 12th & 13th at the Sioux Falls Convention Center is designed to educate, engage, and enlighten attendees. There is no one better to kick off this years conference, then returning presenter Donna Wright, MS, RN, NPD-BC with Creative Health Care Management.
Donna will present: Don’t Be a Half-Way Leader, a humorous look at the realities of healthcare. Be ready to unravel the secrets of articulating expectations and what we often do to make it fail. Attendees will learn the path to better, clear leadership and how easy it can be if you are aware of a few simple rules.
Learn how to define the current reality in healthcare and the challenges those in the industry face. Donna will also help to identify strategies for ways to auriculate expectations, in a way that includes discussion, storytelling, humor with time for questions and answers.
Donna was born and raised in South Dakota and currently works out of her home in Sturgis, which she is quick to point out at the beginning of her sessions. “I work all over the world, but I choose to call Sturgis, South Dakota Home. That is base for me!” Donna is known for her irreverent wit and astute pragmatism. She is extremely savvy and has a global perspective—literally. She’s worked on every continent but Antarctica.
When Donna is not presenting in her home state of South Dakota or around the world, she offers education and consultation based on her bestselling books. The Ultimate Guide to Competency Assessment, which has been translated into Japanese, has become the industry standard for establishing and assessing competency. She is also a contributing author in the book Advancing Relationship-Based Cultures. With a background as an oncology nurse and her extensive experience working with health care executives, Donna understands how health care organizations and the caregivers at every level within them work and how they can work better together.
