Sebastian Bach To Headline 6th Annual Rock From The Heart Benefit Concert

Get ready for an unforgettable night of rock as SEBASTIAN BACH takes the stage at the historic Palace Theatre in St. Paul, MN. Presented by Rock from the Heart and 104.1 Jack FM, this annual benefit concert returns for its 6th year, promising a night of music and meaning.

The show, featuring SEBASTIAN BACH, aims to raise funds for aortic disease awareness and education initiatives, combining a powerful performance with a noble cause. Join us for a rocking night with one of America's legendary hitmakers.

As part of the Rock from the Heart tradition, organization founder and survivor Pete Johnson performs in the opening band. People living with heart disease witness a heart surgery survivor on stage drumming a full set of rock and roll, and they leave the event filled with hope that they, too, can lead a happy and healthy life after surgery.

Far from just being a multi-platinum recording artist, he has expanded his career over the past decade to include a five-season recurring role on the hit series Gilmore Girls; voice-over work on SpongeBob SquarePants and Robot Chicken; starring roles on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde, The Rocky Horror Show, and Jesus Christ Superstar; and appearances on ABC’s Sing Your Face Off, the comedy series Trailer Park Boys, MTV and VH1. In December 2016 he released his highly anticipated biography titled 18 and Life on Skid Row, which details his life from his birth in the Bahamas to his teenage years in Canada to the music that rocks his life today.

Aortic Fire

Aortic Fire is the official Rock from the Heart house band. It was formed by our founder, drummer and heart surgery survivor, Pete Johnson. Johnson assembled a group of skilled musicians he has worked with over the years and brought them together to perform at Rock from the Heart events. The band includes other survivors who have been given a second chance to rock. Get ready to turn up the heat with Aortic Fire!

About Rock from the Heart

Rock from the Heart’s mission is to support families from diagnosis to recovery by connecting them with resources and information that is often hard to find. Through concerts and educational events, Rock from the Heart uses music to inspire and provide hope to people affected by aortic disease.

Pete and Amy Johnson founded Rock from the Heart after Pete's personal battle with an aortic aneurysm and aortic valve disease revealed the need for accessible and consistent information about the disease and recovery. Their love for rock music led them to bring awareness and music together in the form of an annual symposium and benefit concert. Since 2019, Rock from the Heart has been using music to uplift and empower families affected by aortic disease.

“Music brings people together. Awareness is key to survival, and Rock from the Heart events help bring the condition to the forefront.

Knowledge is powerful when it comes to your health, and aortic conditions are no exception. We want to share the details of our journey, so others are not left searching for answers.”

—Pete and Amy Johnson, Rock from the Heart founders
