Rheumatology Specialist Mary Weisberg Joins Essentia Health-South University Clinic

Mary Weisberg, a certified physician assistant specializing in rheumatology, is excited to join the Essentia Health-South University Clinic.

“I chose Essentia because of the employees’ emphasis on work-life balance and how much they praised Essentia when it came to the work environment,” explained Weisberg. “I wanted to work somewhere that emphasized quality care to patients and provided a welcoming environment for new providers and staff.”

Weisberg received her medical education from the University of North Dakota. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

“Rheumatology is an evolving field with new medications and treatments always on the horizon,” said Weisberg. “There is so much to learn and there are so many people to help. I wanted a specialty that truly allowed me to get to know my patients and help them feel better. Medicine is about building relationships and helping those that need us.”
