Occupational Health Services Receives Worker 360 Wellness Award

At Columbus Community Hospital, your health matters — and building a healthier tomorrow starts with the choices we make today. That’s why the hospital is proud to announce its recognition from the Nebraska Safety Council as a 2023 Worker 360 Wellness Award recipient — an award that acknowledges organizations for outstanding achievements in total worker well-being.

“Over the years, we have worked diligently to create a wellness program for our employees,” said Danielle Frewing, director of Occupational Health Services for the hospital. “It takes collaboration and support from many different people, who all share the same vision of improving the health and wellness of our community. But in the end, we’ve built a strong wellness program that everyone can be proud of, that extends far beyond the traditional annual wellness screening.”

This prestigious award offers three recognition levels: bronze, silver and gold. Each level showcases companies that are taking a 360-degree view of their workforce, awarding them for incorporating worksite safety, worker well-being and comprehensive wellness and safety initiatives.

OHS leadership accepted the bronze award on Wednesday, April 24, at the 46th Annual Nebraska Safety Council Conference.
