Mary Lanning Healthcare Honored For Role In Organ Donation

Live On Nebraska recently honored Mary Lanning Healthcare with Gold Recognition for its role in organ donation and participation in a national campaign on organ, eye and tissue donation.

Laurie Stevens, MLH Medical-Surgical Director; Cassie Grubbs, MLH Surgery Director; and Shayla Thamer, Medical-Surgical Manager, accepted the 2023 Gold Recognition certificate on behalf of Mary Lanning. Live On Nebraska gave the award to thank MLH for its exceptional care to patients and families, amazing collaboration among teams and Live On Nebraska in the donation process, and hard work and dedication of the MLH Donation Committee toward awareness of organ donation.

MLH joined Live On Nebraska and other workplaces across the nation in DoNation — a national campaign uniting America’s workforce for organ, eye and tissue donation. The national initiative, sponsored by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, challenges workplaces to create donation-friendly workplace communities that educate and engage employees and the community about crucial donation needs.
