MercyOne Dubuque Cancer Center receives donation for Breast Cancer Awareness month

MercyOne Dubuque Cancer Center received over $2,500.00 from the 2023 Local 25 Breast Cancer Fundraiser. The annual event, held in October, was hosted by the Dubuque Fire Department, Dubuque Professional Firefighters Local 25, and the City of Dubuque.

Kyle Reinert, Dubuque professional firefighters executive board member, said the firefighters were proud to have worked with the Firefighters Local 25 to raise over $5,000 in total for MercyOne Dubuque Cancer Center and other community agencies.

“We’re grateful for the support of our patients and community,” said Jackie Bierman, director, MercyOne Dubuque Cancer Center. “We appreciate this donation and are committed to providing comprehensive cancer care for you during one of life’s most challenging experiences.”
