Maria Azpeitia, NP-C, Receives Inspire® Certification

Inspire ® therapy is a mask-free solution for people with obstructive sleep apnea who have tried and struggled with a CPAP machine. This therapy is offered at CNOS with a newly certified provider. CNOS Neurology Nurse Practitioner, Maria Azpeitia, recently received her Inspire Care Pathway Certification.

Inspire strives to ensure all patients have the best outcomes possible. In doing so, each provider goes through a 2-phase certification over the course of many months. At the end of the certification process, they take a 2-part exam: walking a proctor through a series of case scenarios and a sense waveform presentation.

Becky Parks, Inspire Territory Manager for Eastern South Dakota expressed her congratulations for Maria saying, “The proctors were in awe of Maria as they completed her exam. Her knowledge base and passion for patient care were extraordinary. We could not have been prouder when Maria paused the exam, told the instructor that CNOS sets higher “all night, every night” standards for their patients and she would have given the patient more time to get their usage up. It is this precision and dedication that drive the 90% outcomes that the patients at CNOS can experience. Congratulations to Maria! Inspire is fortunate to partner with providers like her!”
