Family Medicine Specialist Megan Larson Joins The Essentia Health-West Acres Clinic

Megan Larson, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine, is excited to join the Essentia Health-West Acres Clinic.

“I have worked with Essentia for nearly 10 years and have always felt that my values align closely with Essentia's,” explained Larson. “I wanted to continue working within the health system that helped me evolve from a nurse's aide to a registered nurse to a nurse practitioner.”

Larson received her medical education from the University of North Dakota. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I love family practice because we have such a broad scope of knowledge and skills,” said Larson. “I get to know individuals and their families and relate to them in a variety of ways. I do not feel ‘restricted’ in what I get to speak with my patients about because everything applies in family medicine! I love being able to see patients of all ages and walks of life.”

“I enjoy working with underserved and rural populations as well as those who are affected by substance use,” she added. “I am here to listen to you and to be human alongside you.”
