Essentia Health-Moorhead Clinic Welcomes Family Medicine Specialist Katie Thielges

The Essentia Health-Moorhead Clinic is excited to welcome Katie Thielges, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine.

“I chose Essentia Health for the opportunity to practice family medicine at an organization that shares my values of patient-centered care,” said Thielges. “As an emergency room nurse, I saw a need for good primary care providers to provide education and preventive care to patients to keep their quality of health high and out of the hospital.”

Thielges received her medical education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

“I value educating patients about their conditions so that, together, we can use shared decision making to form a care plan that is best for patients and their families,” explained Thielges. “I also enjoy caring for a wide variety of patient conditions and ages, as well as entire families.”
