Essentia Health-Fargo Welcomes Hospitalist Hannah Schiefelbein

Hannah Schiefelbein, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in hospitalist services, is excited to continue at Essentia Health-Fargo.

“When I first walked into Essentia, everyone was so warm and welcoming,” said Schiefelbein, who has worked in the intensive care unit as a charge nurse for the last eight years. “I chose to join Essentia because this organization has a great sense of community, and they value putting patients first. I decided to continue to work for Essentia because of the strong sense of community, familiarity and organizational values.”

Schiefelbein received her medical education from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She is certified by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.

“I enjoy taking care of a wide variety of patients with complex diseases,” said Schiefelbein. “I believe that life should be enjoyed to the fullest. The quality of life is always more important than the quantity of years lived, however short.”
