Department Of Health And Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities Announces Multi-City Listening Tour

Kristen Smith, the Deputy Director of Eligibility, Policy, and Quality, and Colin Large, Policy Administrator with the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) have announced a multi-city Listening Tour focused on the proposed Family Support Waiver. They plan to visit four locations and will include a virtual option.

“The intent of this waiver is to provide support for children and families experiencing a developmental disability in Nebraska,” said Kristen Smith, Deputy Director of DDD with DHHS. “This new waiver will serve up to 850 children. This listening tour is an opportunity to gain important stakeholder input and find opportunities for enhancements to our services and supports.”

Anyone who wants to learn more about the pending Family Support Waiver is encouraged to attend.
