Columbus Community Hospital (CCH) Dietitians Offer Food For Thought In 2024

Have fun and learn how to live a healthier life with Food Thoughts, a free educational series of classes through Columbus Community Hospital. 

Food Thoughts classes are from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every Friday in the multipurpose room at the Columbus Wellness Center. CCH dietitians lead the classes and provide expert advice about health and nutrition. 

Topics for April-June include:

  • April 5 — “20 healthy tips for eating right”

  • April 12 — “Beyond the table”

  • April 19 — “Eating right to reduce food waste”

  • April 26 — “Healthy mac and cheese” (cooking demo)

  • May 3 — “Eating right on a budget”

  • May 10 — “Smart tips for plant-based eating”

  • May 17 — “Smart tips for successful meals”

  • May 24 — “Eating right for older adults”

  • May 31 — “Chicken pot pie bundles” (cooking demo)

  • June 7 — “Healthy eatin on the run”

  • June 14 — “Smart snacking tips for adults and teens”

  • June 21 — “Back to basics for healthy weight loss”

  • June 28 — “Cheesy white bean cakes” (cooking demo)

The dietitians will answer questions following each presentation.
