CNOS was excited to join forces this year and be a part of the Siouxland Youth Sports Camp which occurred this past Friday, July 28th.

Siouxland Youth Sports Camp was held in conjunction with The Arena, United Sports Academy/CNOS Fieldhouse, and Long Lines Family Rec Center. Kids learned basic skills, techniques and drills from local athletes, coaches and volunteers in basketball, dance, volleyball and new this year - soccer.

“CNOS proudly supports youth sports in Siouxland,” said Sarah Rol, Communications Director at CNOS. “It takes an entire community of coaches, sports medicine doctors, athletic trainers and support staff to keep our local kids active, involved and safe.”

Over 500 local youth participated in the camp this year, a record number!

In addition, “Fore! the Kids” golf tournament took place on Saturday, July 29th at Two Rivers Golf Club. Over 90 golfers participated, with proceeds supporting the free youth sports camps Siouxland hosted by three amazing facilities.

“Fore! the Kids helps us carry on our longstanding tradition of youth sports camps in the area,” said Rol. “The event was not only a great day on the golf course, but it helps our next generation of kids and those who may not be able to participate in other camps, join together with other youth athletes and learn lifelong skills from talented coaches.”
