X-Ray Technician

The X-Ray Technician will position and perform x-rays on patients at the order of the physician. Using the EMR (electronic medical record) system, the tech will assist the clinical team with ordering and closing out the x-rays and will ensure all proper documentation is obtained; all while maintaining radiation safety guidelines and conducting proper radiation protection practices during the imaging process. This is a clinical outpatient setting with a low volume of x-rays. The X-Ray tech will also assist in scheduling outside imaging testing and procedures, and referral appointments.

Pay:

Starting at $22/hr

Skills/Qualifications:

Candidates should have a diploma from an accredited radiologic program. Must be willing to teach, as this is an enviroment full of learners.
